Specialties

The hospital was built in 1981, and whilst acquired by Bupa in 2008, caters to both insured and self paying patients. It is a multi-specialty hospital providing access to consultants in most specialties including and especially: cancer, cardiology, gastroenterology, gynaecology, and urology. The hospital operates on a multidisciplinary team basis, where all clinicians meet regularly to discuss, agree and plan patient care. Teams are specialists in their fields of medicine and include clinical nurse specialists in larger specialities, such as orthopaedics. Here you can access the Joint School for prehabilitation and post-hip surgery (rehabilitation) information and support.
